We can work with copper, brasses, nickel silver, mild steel, stainless steels, and bronze. We cannot etch aluminium, and choose not to work with beryllium copper due to the poisonous nature of beryllium.

A note on μ metal: this is particularly hard to fabricate in the usual way, but it etches easily and fold lines solve the inherent resistance to sharp bends, meaning we can achieve superior results.
